Welcome to the Coyote Hills PTCO website! Here you'll find information on what's going on at the school, ways you can get involved, and what the PTCO is doing on behalf of you and your children.
Chipotle Community Night is Tuesday!
Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support Coyote Hills. Chipotle at Southlands is hosting a Coyote Hills Community Night from 4 to 8 p.m. this Tuesday, Jan. 15.
Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or simply tell the cashier that you are there to support Coyote Hills so that a portion of your purchase will go to the school.
Join us Jan. 15 for SAC, PTCO
All Coyote Hills parents are invited to attend the regular School Accountability Committee (SAC) and PTCO meetings this Tuesday evening. Both meetings are a great way to find out more about what's happening at Coyote Hills.
The SAC meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the library, where Principal Pohlmann will provide information on balanced literacy and literacy curriculum adoption for the 2019-2020 school year.
The PTCO meeting will follow at 7 p.m., where you can learn how to get more involved at the school or simply know more about how the PTCO raises funds for the school and have a say in how those funds are used.
We hope to see you at one or both meetings!

Fun Run coming up this month
Coyote Hills Elementary has a goal to raise $25,000 for educational assistants for 2019-20 school year.
By partnering with Boosterthon, our students will participate in a two-week, fitness-based fundraiser where they’ll learn essential character traits through this year’s theme: MINDSPARK MYSTERY LAB. See this video link for a quick teaser about the theme.
Help us reach our goal this year by connecting with sponsors, such as family and friends. Pledging will open Jan. 22 at FunRun.com. A pep rally is scheduled Jan. 22. And the Fun Run itself will take place Jan. 31. Everyone is invited, so mark your calendar now!
More details will be sent out soon. Stay tuned!
Join the Pack Patrol
Coyote Hills Elementary School is excited to introduce a new opportunity for family involvement during our school day.
Play is a huge part of your child’s success and development. One of the best places to see your child play is on the playground. Coyote Hills is starting a new program called Pack Patrol. In this program, parents are invited to play with kids during the lunch/recess time.
The school is looking for guardians who want to come and spend time outside with students, help them play games, chat and connect. Each volunteer will be briefly trained on playground rules and procedures and given a vest. Then you will be released to spend time climbing on the monkey bars, organizing soccer games or simply connecting with students. If you are interested in joining this program, please review the times for volunteering and then go to the link to sign up for training.
Training days are as follows:
